Robert L. Crozier
Robert L. Crozier, 74, a resident of Mapleton, Kan., and formerly of Kansas City, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at the Mercy Health Center in Fort Scott. He was born Dec. 14, 1932, in Garnett, Kan., the son of Lester R. Crozier and Inez Gray Crozier. He served in the United States Army. He was a sheet metal worker with 50 year membership in the MoKan Sheet Metal Workers Local No. 2 Union. He was also a member of the Santa Fe Trail Post No. 846 VFW. He married Kathy Gertz in 1990 in Overland Park, Kan. Bob is survived by his wife, Kathy, Mapleton, Kan.; two daughters, Sherri McLaughlin, Olathe, Kan., and Cindy Youree and husband Gary, Rogers, Ark.; step-son George Gertz, Jr. and wife Lori, Mission, Kan.; step-daughter Lynn Dunagan and husband Bobby, Kansas City, Kan.; and three grandchildren, Donovan, Allison and Kaitlyn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William "Bud" Crozier; sister, Peggy Isle; and son, Michael Lee Crozier.
Funeral services for Robert Crozier will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, at the Cheney Witt Chapel, with Mark Stetler officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Mapleton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 10 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
