JOHN ROBERT STANLEY

John Robert "Bob"' Stanley, age 43, resident of 1152 Native Road, Fort Scott, died Thursday, February 1,2007, at his home. He was born April 7,1963 in Long Beach, California the son of Edward Inzer Stanley and Roberta lone Gosnell Stanley. Bob was sometimes known by his nickname "Fu" because of his instructions in Kung Fu. He was an auto mechanic by trade. Bob was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Camden, Arkansas where his grandfather started the church. Bob's hobbies included playing the guitar and drums, fishing, and working on cars, Survivors include his father, Edward Stanley of Grandview, Missouri; his mother, Roberta Martorella, Santa Rosa, California; one son, John Stanley; two daughters, Jessica Stanley and Cindy Stanley; three brothers, Kenneth Stanley of Mapleton, Daniel Stanley and Darrell Ridge; and two sisters, Mechelle and Jill. The Rev. Mark Gaither will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Cheney Witt Chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
