Crest, Metro Academy top seeds

PLEASANTON -- Crest's boys and Metro Academy's girls are the top seeds in the annual Pleasanton Mid-Season Tournament, which begins here Tuesday.

Metro Academy, out of Kansas City, Mo., will help kick off the tournament when it's girls face Prairie View at 4 p.m. in the north gymnasium. At the same time, Crest's girls will play Northeast-Arma in the south gymnasium.

At 5:30, it will be Crest's boys against Prairie View in the north gym while Metro Academy's boys will face Northeast in the south gym.

Games at 7 p.m. will have Humboldt's boys facing Uniontown in the south gym and Olathe Berean Christian against Pleasanton in a girls' game in the north gym.

At 8:30, Berean Christian and Pleasanton's boys face off the north gym while Uniontown and Humboldt's girls play in the south gym.

Game times for Thursday will not be set until Wednesday morning in order to keep both of a school's teams from playing at the same time.

Saturday's action will begin at 3 p.m. in each gym. The championship games will be held in the north gym with the girls at 6 p.m. and the boys at 7:30.
