Plans being made for Operation Christmas Child coming this fall

Clara Schofield sand "I Believe in a Hill Called Mount Calvary" at the Diamond Community Church on Aug. 13. Joan Kollar's sermon was entitled "Why Are You Here Today?" based on Psalms 122 and Hebrews 10:19-25. She introduced us to the Tater family, father, Spec Tater, mother, Emma Tater, son, Agi Tater, and daughter, Partica Tater; asking us which one we were. Joan will be in charge of Operation Christmas Child this fall. This is a project where shoe boxes are filled with toys, candy, school supplies, etc. for needy children in other countries.

Jon Bingesser visited his grandmother, Dorothy Martens, on Aug. 14, when he was coming home from Beloit, Kan. where he had a job as a lifeguard at the Beloit swimming pool for the summer. He will attend PSU this fall.
