Behind a strong running game, the Fort Scott High School Tiger football team cruised to a 42-27 win over the Paola Panthers in the season opener Friday night at Frary Field. Wesley “Limber” Levoy Miles, age 84, resident of Fort Scott, Kan., died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, at Medicalodges of Fort Scott.
