Work began Monday on an approximately $2 million project to make improvements on Horton Street between Sixth and 18th streets, one of three large infrastructure improvement projects on the city’s slate in the coming years. Nolene Louise Whiteside, 97, of Fort Scott, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Presbyterian Village.
