Larry Duane Walrod, age 83, of La Cygne, Kan., passed away Monday, Feb. 21, 2022. He was born in Hume, Mo., on June 3, 1938 the son of George Morris and Marjorie Keith Walrod. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Darin Walrod. Larry is survived by his wife, Laura, two brothers, Bub and Fred Walrod (Sharon), two sisters, Phyllis Blaser (Terry), and Sue Clark (Jerry), Larry had three children, Lisa Miller, Deena Lewis (Scott) and Kimi Soto (Jesus). ...

Joseph Nicholas Wurtz, age 58, Mound City, Kan., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022.   A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 5 at the Mound City United Methodist Church with lunch being served after service.
