Erma Josephine Patterson, 97, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin. She had moved back to Fort Scott in October, after living in Atlanta, Ga., for the past 50 years. Angela Evelyn Brown joined our Lord on Friday, Jan. 15, 2021. Angela was born in Baltimore, Md., on April 25, 1936 as the only child of Albert D. Perce and Evelyn Byrne Pearce. She was educated in the Catholic school system in the Baltimore area. She was a graduate The Institute of Notre Dame High School. As a side note, Senator Barbara Mikulski was a homeroom classmate.
