Ronnie Renee Byrd Allen, age 36, a resident of Pittsburg, Kan., passed Monday, March 11, 2019, at the Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, Kan. The Fort Scott Community College Board of Trustees on Monday heard a report on a research project that began in 2018 to determine what FSCC can do to improve numbers for student retention and graduation. Fort Scott Community College hosted its annual Aggie Day Friday. About 1,600 FFA students from several high schools attended the event. They competed in various judging and speech contests held throughout the FSCC campus.
