Betty Mae Reed, 91, of Fort Scott, passed away Saturday afternoon, July 22, 2017, at her home. Arrangements will be announced by the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home.

Darin Scott Walrod, age 51, La Cygne, Kan., passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017. He was born at Ventura, Calif., on Dec. 16, 1965 the son of Larry Duane and Betty Lou Patton Walrod. He worked as a counselor at the Osawatomie State Hospital. Darin was an avid surfer. He is survived by his father, Larry Walrod and wife Laura, mother, Betty Lou Tokuyama, three sisters: Lisa Miller, Deena Lewis and Kimi Soto, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends...

Thomas Marvin Heter of Garland, Kan., passed away peacefully on July 20, 2017. He was 79 years old. Tom will be remembered for his passion, intelligence, and his love of art, photography, and music.
