Darryl Dean Skaggs, age 59, died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, in an auto accident in Pittsburg, Kan. He was born July 27, 1957, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Clarence and Thelma Slade Skaggs. He was known for excellent heavy equipment operation in the S.E.K. area. He worked for Freddy Van's Construction in Pittsburg for over 13 years. He was very funny and was the best storyteller. Deborah Roxanne (Rushing) Hixon, 62, resident of Clermont, Fla., died Dec. 3, 2016, in a Clermont hospital following a heart attack. Roxanne was born Aug. 3, 1954, in Tyler, Texas.
