During a special meeting Friday, Bourbon County Commissioners made the decision to allow the sheriff's office to purchase a replacement vehicle. Commissioners also voted to allow sheriff's employees to carry over unused vacation time. There were 312 parents and children who ate breakfast with Santa Saturday at the Fort Scott Community College. The President's Ambassador group at FSCC facilitated the event as a community service project. Fort Scott High's wrestlers finished in third place as Blue Valley Southwest claimed the Fort Scott Dual Tournament championship for the fourth time in five years at the FSHS gymnasium Saturday.
