Wanda Sue Avery McGilvra, age 77, resident of Fort Scott, Kan., died Thursday, April 23, 2015, at K.U. Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan. She was born Sept. 25, 1937, in Hickman, Ky., the daughter of Reed and Bertha Yates Moran. She married Charles Avery on June 29, 1959. He preceded her in death in 1991.
