Next on Uniontown's to-do list: gas line project

The next big thing for the City of Uniontown will be working on the gas line. Having just completed a major water improvement project in 2014, the city is moving forward with gas line replacement projects. At its monthly meeting on Tuesday, the Uniontown City Council worked to solve a recent gas line leak and next week will add a new odorizer to the gas system. That's what Bourbon County Sheriff Bill Martin said about the Southeast Kansas Correctional Center during the Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce coffee, held Thursday.
