Commissioners work towards scheduled tax sales

Bourbon County Commissioners are hoping to establish a better schedule for holding tax sales. On Monday, they met with Bourbon County Treasurer Rhonda Dunn and attorney Dan Meara, who assists the county with the sales. Meara is hoping a sale can be held in October. He said the notice of sheriff's sale will be published soon and the sale can be held at least 30 days after the first date of publication. He said that would put the sale at mid to late October...
