Workers free a BNSF Railway truck that collided with another pickup near the BNSF railroad tracks Thursday afternoon on Poplar Road just east of U.S. Highway 69 north of Fort Scott. According to the Bourbon County Sheriff's Office, one man involved in the accident sustained minor injuries and refused EMS treatment at the scene. Both vehicles involved were towed out of a ditch near the tracks and away from the scene. No other details of the accident were available as of press time...
