For a first-year team, the Fort Scott Tigers baseball u16s, coached by Paul Martin, have enjoyed a good amount of offensive success this season. In a doubleheader against Frontenac, a balanced attack produced this output for the day. Offensive leaders for Fort Scott were Isaac Thurston, with four singles, scoring twice; Dalton Barnes, with two walks and two runs; Tommy Avery, with three singles, two doubles and two runs; Jordan Phillips, with a single, two walks, was hit by a pitch and scored a run; Adam Deloney, with three singles and an RBI-sacrifice fly; Wyatt Tourtillott, with a single; Austin Cook, with a single and a run; and Lucas Gillen, with a single and a run.. ...
