Two injured in weekend accidents

Three people were injured in two separate accidents this past weekend on area roads. According to a Kansas Highway Patrol report, 15-year-old Emily Ann Hicks, of Irving, Texas, was hurt when the 1998 Honda Civic she was driving east on Kansas Highway 7 crashed on K-7 just south of U.S. Highway 69 or about three miles south of Fort Scott.
