Fort Scott High School has received recognition from the Kansas State High School Activities Association for sportsmanship at the Class 4A State Basketball Tournament, held in Salina March 6-9. Legal issues may block blasting at quarry

Two Oklahoma residents were killed and four other people were injured in a three-vehicle collision Saturday afternoon on U.S. Highway 69 about six miles south of Fort Scott.
