Somewhere between 15 and 20 Fort Scotians took an icy plunge into 37-degree water on Saturday during the Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics at the Crimson Villa Apartments pool in Pittsburg. It was the seventh year for the plunge in Pittsburg and on Saturday, the Winfield Scott Elementary team of "The Mischievous Monkeys" made their presence known, raising about $3,300 for the benefit, including about $800 dollars that was donated by students at the school...
