USD 234 officials and local law enforcement personnel are joining forces to address what appears to be a growing problem nationwide -- inappropriate communications between staff and students using cell phones and other electronic devices. Given incidents that have occurred in the district in recent years involving offenses such as "sexting" -- defined as the act of sending sexually explicit messages or photographs primarily between mobile phones -- between district personnel and students, the goal is to educate adults and youngsters about the seriousness of this and other behaviors and the consequences involved.. ...
