Lucille M. Johnston, 92, of Liberal, Mo., died at 10:50 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at Nevada Regional Medical Center, Nevada, Mo. Mrs. Johnston was born Feb. 19, 1920, at Oskaloosa, Mo., the daughter of John T. and Velta M. Apperson Wirt. Lucille was a homemaker who also had worked at Sunset Manor in Frontenac and Western Insurance in Fort Scott. She was raised in Oskaloosa, Mo., and graduated from Mindenmines High School.
