Scott Street Flea Market finding success so far (Business ~ 08/04/11)
Business has been good so far for a new flea market and antique store in downtown Fort Scott. The Scott Street Flea Market, located at 15 S. Scott St., contains a variety of items available for sale by local vendors and also serves as a site for local auctions. We have fielded a number of inquiries recently concerning the use of Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) acres for haying or grazing for this year. Hay yields have been adversely affected by the hot and dry conditions experienced this summer beginning in June. July and August have offered no relief so far...
