Youngsters age 9-12 will have a chance to explore history in a hands-on way during the Fort Scott National Historic Site's Trailblazer Camp. The camp will be offered from Aug. 1-5 from 8:30 a.m.-noon each day. The program introduces youngsters to the National Park Service in general, some of the jobs rangers do to take care of Fort Scott National Historic Site and how those jobs are done.
