Charles Edward "Charlie" Klenklen, 80, resident of Fort Scott, Kan., died Sunday, May 29, 2011, at the Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, Kan. He was born Aug. 18, 1930, in South Mound, Kan., the son of Odelia Joseph and Chrystie Mable Singleton Klenklen. Charles married Flora Fern Beeney on Oct. 10, 1953, in Erie, Kan. Shelly Marie Ramsey, 42, Neosho, died Sunday, May 22, 2011, from injuries sustained in the tornado at Joplin, Mo. Shelly was born Sept. 26, 1968, in Fort Scott, Kan., and grew up in the Fort Scott area. She moved to southwest Missouri in 1991 from Fort Scott and currently worked at Jay Hatfield Mobility in Joplin. Her children were her priority, and she was a very giving person, always having a smile and positive attitude...

Brian Curtiss Stewart, 25 1915 Huntington Blvd., Lot 39C, Fort Scott, was arrested on May 29 by the Fort Scott Police Department for driving while suspended and no seatbelt and released May 30 at 12:18 a.m. on a $1,250 bond. Shannon Rose Hall, 26, 121 N. Judson, Apt. 2, Fort Scott, was arrested on May 27 at 10:12 p.m. by the Kansas Highway Patrol for driving under the influence and driving while suspended and was released on May 29 at 10:50 p.m. on a $3,750 bond...
