Livestock Judging team places in contest

The Fort Scott Community College Livestock Judging team traveled to Louisville, Ky., last month to compete in the North American International Livestock Expo (NAILE) junior college division judging contest. The exposition, which took place Nov. 17, is the largest purebred livestock exposition in the world. Twenty-seven teams competed in the junior college division. In what could have been a scene straight out of the mid-1880s, a group of about 24 people, plus spectators, gathered at the Grand Hall at Fort Scott National Historic Site Saturday for a little ballroom dancing. Weekend tours enjoy success
