James Dewayne Fountain Jr., 18, Joplin, Mo., was arrested on Oct. 22, 2010 at 5:25 p.m. by the Fort Scott Police Department for domestic battery, possession of stimulatns and possession of paraphernalia and is still being held at this time. Rodney Jay Clark, 50, 221 Hullet, Fort Scott, was arrested on Oct. 23, 2010 at 12:15 a.m. for driving while suspended. He was released on Oct. 23, 2010 at 12:28 a.m. on a $1250 bond...

Marilyn Fornwalt Kredel, a native of Fort Scott, will present a concert of classical and sacred music on Sunday, Oct. 31, at 2 p.m. at the First Church of God, at the corner of Wall Street and Broadway. Kredel is the daughter of Rosalyn Fornwalt and the late Rev. Wesley Fornwalt, who was pastor of the First Church of God for many years.
