Lynn Phillip Rosamond, 64, Deerfield, Mo., passed away on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, at Moore-Few Care Center, Nevada, following an illness of several months. He was born Dec. 20, 1945, in Hot Springs, Ark., to Alvin Phillip Rosamond and Helena Maye McGriff Rosamond. Kenneth R. Hammar, 76, Fort Scott, Kan., died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, at the Girard Medical Center. He was born April 1, 1934, in Burton, Kan., the son of Lucian Hammar and Alice Brown Hammar. Kenneth had served with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. ...

SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. -- The Nevada Neptunes swim team wrapped up the 2010 season with a sixth place finish at the Tri State A Championships on the campus of John Brown University on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 7 and 8.
