County highway projects back on track

City chips in on fireworks display

After being removed from the budget, the city has decided to donate money toward the annual fireworks presentation presented by the Elk's Lodge. With the annual fireworks presentation just a month away, the Fort Scott Elks Lodge 579 had requested the annual donation of $2,500 from the city during Tuesday evening's meeting, however the donation was removed from the 2010 budget.
