Charles J. "Mick" Dwyer, Jr., age 81, resident of rural Fort Scott, died Monday, April 26, 2010, at his home. He was born May 13, 1928, in Fort Scott, the son of Charles Joseph Dwyer, Sr., and Kathryn Louise Petty Dwyer. Mick was in the Merchant Marines during World War II then returned home and became the owner/operator of the Crescent Foundry in Fort Scott. He ran the foundry until the early 1970's and had many fond memories of that time...
