Wall Street changes denied

The proposed changes to Wall Street will have to wait as the Fort Scott City Commission voted against the city's application for grant funding. "It's a good opportunity but I don't want to see us jump into debt," Commissioner Jean Parker said. Fort Scott Director of Economic Development Dale Bunn addressed the commission during Tuesday evening's special meeting to discuss the city's possible application for a Transportation Enhancement Grant which would fund 80 percent of the cost of three projects which would change the way Fort Scott is viewed and navigated by visitors.. ...
