My 'helper' in the kitchen, who else but good ole Bob. I don't know about the rest of you gals out there, but I keep a list of all the 'little' things that just might need a wee bit of repair or a little tender 'lovin care. This is where Bob comes in, this particular repair job had been at the top of my 'to do' list for probably three months. I just kept putting it off, because for some reason these 'little' jobs seem to take on a life of their own, if you know what I mean...

Infants and toddler on airplanes are safest in a car seat with a harness in case of turbulence, according to Safe Kids Kansas, a statewide organization designed to help prevent injuries to Kansas children. "A child who rides in a car seat on the ground should ride in that car seat on a plane," Safe Kids Kansas Coordinator Jan Stegelman said. Bourbon County Fair offers first timers new opportunities

An estimated heat index of 104 degrees did not stop participants of the Bourbon County Fair from coming out to the 4-H Dog Show on Monday morning.
