Just think of all the important health advice we learn from mothers, or have given as a mother -- "Hold hands and look both ways when you cross the street. Wash your hands after using the bathroom. The Senior Swingers' Monday Night Dance at Buck Run Community Center was well attended. The four or five couples from Pittsburg are vey faithful and love to dance. Some were originally from Fort Scott and love to come back. We had a new guest tonight, Joe Chalkey, from Moran. He is a good dancer and seemed to enjoy dancing with all of our ladies...

Three local high school students recently traveled to Wichita in order to compete in a competition, which would better equip them for the future.
