Double accident results in death of Mound City man

A Mound City man died Tuesday evening after being struck by a car on U.S. Highway 69 near La Cygne, a Kansas Highway Patrol report said Wednesday. According to the report, Dan Leroy Hobbs, 57, entered the roadway shortly before 7:30 p.m. and was struck by a 2006 Ford Taurus driven by Lisa Clausen, 36, of Mound City.
