Emily May Ivie Jackson, age 83, a resident of rural Redfield, Kan., died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007, at the St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo. She was born Jan. 16, 1924, in Nampa, Idaho, the daughter of Bert Ivie and Ellen May Lloyd Ivie. May first married Robert J. Jackson on June 10, 1941. He preceded her in death on Feb. 14, 1976.
