Lucille Mae Jones, 76, of Liberal, Mo., passed away at 8:16 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, at Mercy Health Center in Fort Scott following a short illness. Lucille was born Feb. 27, 1931, near the family farm west of Liberal, to Wilbur and Ethel (Lasley) Jones. She graduated from Liberal High School in 1949 and worked for several years in the A.S.
