According to Safe Kids Kansas, infants and toddlers on airplanes are safest when they travel in car seats equipped with harnesses in case of turbulence. "A child who rides in a car seat on the ground should ride in that car seat on a plane," Safe Kids Kansas Coordinator Jan Stegelman said. A judge on Thursday sentenced Clifford O. Butler to 14 months in prison for his involvement in a physical altercation in April.
