FSCC to host youth baseball tournament

FORT SCOTT, Kan. -- Fort Scott Community College's baseball team will play host for a 10-team baseball tournament for high-school age teams next weekend at Lions Field and Ty Cullor Field here. In addition to the host team from Fort Scott, there will also be teams from Pittsburg, Springfield, Mo., the Kansas City area and even a couple from Denver, FSCC head coach Chris Moddelmog said. Echoes of the Trail organizers roped in about 650 people over the weekend for the 11th annual western-themed cowboy festival at Fort Scott Community College.
