It Can't Get Here Fast Enough!

Have you ever been looking forward to something so much you just can't wait for it to get here? I'm in that boat right now!

Late last year Bossman and I decided we were going to book a vacation/adventure based solely on our love for photography. Actually, it was more me just saying "Hey, let's go here and do this because I want to and need someone to tag along so I don't get eaten by a bear and all that jazz." And of course, he agreed without much thought. He's cool like that.

Destination - Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

The wife and I ventured there last summer and I promised I'd someday return, never thinking it would be a little more than one year later. It's one of those magical places, especially for photographers. Convincing Gary to tag along didn't take much since he'd already seen my images from my trip.

Here's the plan. Seven days of nothing but camping in the great outdoors and making photos of some of the most beautiful landscape and animals to grace the face of the earth. Sounds great right? It is....now we just have to wait five more months for September to get here!

Five months might not seem like a long time to most but for someone with little patience like myself, it's like a first grader waiting five years for the next Christmas morning gift exchange. It's killing me!!

For now I'm biding my time photographing the sunsets of Bourbon County and that keeps me out of trouble! If anyone knows how to speed up time, please contact me.
