Happy Snapper
So the past week has been 100% spectacular. I'm talking Grade A Beef quality. Not that 70/30 stuff....the high quality stuff - 96/4. It's been that kind of week.
Found out two of my photos were published in Sports Illustrated's online version. A dream of mine has always been to be published in the magazine. I'm one step closer with the online version. I about needed a diaper when I found out. Good times.
Traveled to San Antonio for my dad's wedding. Discovered the River Walk (don't know if it's one word or two) area and realized that would be the place I would propose to my wife if I could go back in time and do it all over again. With her of course! Don't get any ideas folks.
Met one of my favorite photographers, probably my favorite actually. Thomas Mangelsen, nature photographer stud guru. Got his autograph. Spent some money...
Went to George Brett's on the plaza. Ate great food with bossman Gary and his girl, my wife, twin sister and friend Adam. Smiled at Priest Holmes as he eyed me up and down looking for a fight over my pork tenderloin. I won.
And then, yesterday, found out a third photo had been published on www.cnnsi.com. Yeehaw!
And now...a pretty big idea that I've been trying to get off the ground for some time now is going to be coming to fruition in the near future.
And it needs mentioning....there's a family in Pittsburg that my wife and I have become very close with. Fabulous people. Can't imagine better friends...or cuter kids.
Peace!
